I can offer you services in the field of web design. Web sites can be either static or dynamic. The second type involves using databases. Services that can be offered by me include the following:
- Professional Web Design
- Web Site Redesign
- Web Site Maintenance
- Logo Design
- E-commerce Web Site Design
First of all this means that we are going to use databases in order to store information. As an example for dynamic, a website will be designed to store information on employees of the government. Also it could mean a website for the purpose of storing information on legal suites in courts, or complaints registered at a police station. It could also means archiving. For example a web driven system may be used to register students and their marks and these are stored and archived for later use.
I heard that some developers are still using Drupal 5.x because they think Drupal 6.x is not compatible with Arabic. I do not know how they come up with such a faulse conclusion. Drupal 6.x is completely compatible with Arabic and the proof is evident as I am using Drupal 6.x with this site which is quite bi-lingual as you see. One still has to point out that I found that MS internet explorer is not compatible the Arabic interface of this site, but it is quite normal with Firefox and Google Chrome
I usually use Mozilla Firefox and Chrome to view websites and I used them to view this site that I designed with Drupal 6.19. With these two browsers everything was normal the English and Arabic interface and both were switchable to either one normally. However, when I started to see the site with IE 9, I was comfortable to see the English was Ok, but I was shocked to see the Arabic corresponding page without any style and seemingly without any CSS. I found that this because the IE should use the many CSS files gathered aggregated in one file and this can be made by enabling optimized CSS from admin/settings/performance. Hope this will help someone.
This is not the end of the story. There are some frustrating limits to this. Selecting optimized CSS from Performance will prevent your views from benefiting any more CSS you may use inside views. It also it has some frustrating effects. For me it has removed a rounded corner square made with CSS. Look at the picture for more explanation.
